For as long as she can remember, Ashley has felt the Lord stirring in her heart toward birth work and midwifery. That calling has grown clearer over time, and she is now taking the next step with joy and anticipation.

Beginning July 2026, Ashley will serve as a missionary midwife apprentice at Mercy Maternity Center in Davao City, Philippines. There she will work alongside experienced midwives, pursue her midwifery studies online, immerse herself in the local culture and language, and provide compassionate, Christ-centered maternal care to women and families at no cost to them. She believes deeply that quality maternal care is something every woman deserves access to, and she is committed to working toward that vision. 

After completing her training with Newlife International School of Midwifery, Ashley plans to follow the Lord's leading into whatever He has next, seeking to glorify Him every step of the way.
