From a young age, Kenya knew that she was called to be a midwife, serving women as they brought new life into the world. During her senior year of high school, God revealed to her His heart for missions, and she realized that midwifery could be a powerful avenue for building sincere relationships, sharing God’s love, and proclaiming the gospel.

Kenya took her first step into this calling by joining Katalyst’s Missionary Midwife Apprenticeship Program in the Philippines, where she successfully completed her training. Upon returning to the U.S., she completed her practical internship in Tennessee, fulfilling the necessary requirements to sit for the midwife accreditation exam. Now she is preparing for the next phase of her journey.

As part of a six-month post-study internship, Kenya has been invited to serve at Mercy Maternity Center in Davao City, Philippines—the very clinic where she trained with Newlife International School of Midwifery. During this time, she will gain additional hands-on experience while also traveling to observe various midwifery ministries across Asia. These visits will allow her to prayerfully discern where God is leading her next in long-term missions.

While her living expenses in the Philippines are covered by the host ministry, Kenya needs to raise funds to cover:

  • Personal expenses
  • Airfare to and from the Philippines
  • Travel costs for visiting other midwifery ministries in Asia

At Katalyst World Partners, we are thrilled to support Kenya as she embarks on this vital post-apprenticeship internship. Her journey exemplifies the very mission of both Katalyst World Partners and Newlife International School of Midwifery—to train and equip missionary midwives who extend God’s glory to the nations.

Would you consider partnering with Kenya as she follows God’s call? Your support will help her step into the future ministry God is preparing for her.
