Ten years ago, I learned about midwifery and its benefits in reducing infant mortality and improving the health of women and babies around the world.

After a decade of thinking and praying about this program in the Philippines, I am very excited to see what He has planned as I go, trusting that the Lord Jesus is directing my steps. If it weren't for some of the purpose-filled "side quests" this past decade, I might not have known some of you! For this, I am grateful. He has been so good to me!

I’m looking forward to this opportunity to be a midwife apprentice—serving, learning, and trusting Jesus, the Good Shepherd. I can testify to how He is able to do immeasurably more than anything we could ask or imagine. To Him be all the glory.
