Tim and Sondra Burton have been married for 21 years and are the proud parents of three children: Alice (20), Quinn (18), and Hannah (14). Throughout their married life, they have faithfully supported missions, but in recent years they began sensing a deeper calling — a call to serve as missionaries themselves. After much prayer and discernment, in 2025 they responded to an opportunity to serve among the most economically challenged communities in Belize.

Their heart is to serve those in greatest need, introduce people to Christ, and come alongside local leaders to cultivate strong, discipleship-centered churches across the region.

In southern Belize, Sondra will engage with Mayan families, using her managerial experience and background in culinary arts and agriculture to help individuals start and sustain viable small businesses that can provide economic stability and opportunity.

Tim will use his coaching, communication, and entrepreneurial skills to encourage and equip local leaders while developing strategic partnerships that expand Kingdom impact.

Tim and Sondra approach this season with humility and a teachable spirit, eager to learn from the team already serving in Belize and to be used by God in meaningful ways.
