Cultivating Hope Through the Malawi Pastor Corn Project
In rural Malawi, pastors often carry the weight of ministry while struggling to meet their families’ most basic needs—pressure that can quietly erode long-term gospel work. The Malawi Pastor Corn Project took a different approach: instead of short-term aid, it invested in dignity, food security, and local leadership. With modest resources, five pastors dramatically increased their harvests, gained up to a year of food stability, and saw renewed strength in both their homes and their churches. What began as a simple agricultural intervention became a catalyst for deeper ministry impact—and the lessons learned are shaping what comes next.
